As we celebrate Women's History Month and International Women's Day, we wanted to take the opportunity to highlight the Women of SBS by asking them a few questions:
- What advice would you give to your younger self?
- Who has inspired you?
- What does a career in cybersecurity mean to you, and what did your path look like?
Let's see what they had to say!
What advice would you give to your younger self?

Don't wait to take chances because the best things in your life will come from the craziest leaps of faith you take!

Be the change you want to see in the world, as it starts with you! The world can be rough, and is not afraid to knock you down a time or two so believe in who you are, and be confident.. Always seek to understand, as judgement gets you nowhere.
Don’t bypass an opportunity because you think you are too young or don’t have all of the experience. There’s something to be said for a willingness to learn and the ambition to try new things – these things lead to success. The great’s in history didn’t all start at the top.

I would say that it truly is about the journey, not the destination. Sometimes the twists and turns and even failures turn out to be the best things! And be kind along the way - people remember that.

You are good enough! Take the leap of faith!"

I would tell myself to be kinder to myself and be bold. Take the leap and don't be worried about failing because that is the beauty of growing into who you are meant to be.
I would say, don't be afraid to take risks. Keep a sensible head on your shoulders, but remember the scariest jumps can take you the farthest. Oh, also, INVEST IN APPLE AND GOOGLE!

The advice I would give my younger self would be to not compare myself to others. I wish I could tell myself to focus only on me and to take my journey only one day at a time.

Live everyday like it’s your last! Enjoy the small things, work hard, and remember kindness always wins.

My advice to my younger self: Try to be just as nice and loving to yourself as you try to be to everyone else around you.

Learn how to excel at emotional intelligence, it will increase your ability to succeed at interpersonal relationships, self evaluation and professional maturity. Those three characteristics will play a major role in your happiness and professional success.
Who has inspired you?
