SBS was featured on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list for the first time in 2013.

    In 2014 SBS acquired BLU3 Technologies to expand the company’s presence as demand continues to grow for its products and services.

    ACQUIRES HELIX SECURITY

    In 2016, SBS acquired Helix Security, formerly Secure Healthcare Solutions. Helix primarily served clients in healthcare and government industries.

    2017

    CHANGES NAME TO SBS CYBERSECURITY

    In 2017, the company changed its name from Secure Banking Solutions to SBS CyberSecurity due to the growing and evolving cybersecurity industry and the increasing threats faced by our nation. As the demand for cybersecurity services outside the financial sector continued to grow, SBS CyberSecurity wanted the opportunity to assist other industries affected by cybercrime.

    ACQUIRES COMPLIANCE ADVISORY SERVICES

    A unique opportunity for SBS to expand its reach and provide additional services came in 2017 with the acquisition of Compliance Advisory Services, a nationally known consulting firm with an emphasis on compliance issues in the financial services industry.

    For the sixth consecutive year, SBS CyberSecurity was featured on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list. The 2018 ranking put the company in the Inc. 5000 Honor Hall of Fame, an award for companies who have made the list more than five times.

    Entering a new era of growth and innovation, SBS co-founders Chad Knutson and Jon  Waldman acquired full ownership of the company in July of 2022.
