MADISON, S.D., Nov. 22, 2024 — SBS CyberSecurity announces that its CEO, Chad Knutson, has been appointed to the advisory council of the newly established Municipal Cybersecurity Grant Program in South Dakota. This program, funded by Senate Bill 187, aims to improve cybersecurity in South Dakota's municipalities with secure email solutions, technical support, risk assessments, and specialized training against cyber threats.

By enhancing security measures across the state, we protect critical services that every citizen relies upon in our towns and set a crucial example for others to follow.”
The Municipal Cybersecurity Grant Program, overseen by the South Dakota Attorney General’s Office, is a significant initiative to protect the state's municipalities from cyber threats.
