Jon Waldman Talks Cybersecurity Evolution on the All Innovation Podcast

I recently had the honor of being a guest on the All Innovation Podcast, where I shared the story of how SBS CyberSecurity grew from a small team of college students to a leading cybersecurity firm with nearly 100 employees.

 

 

In this episode, we discussed cybersecurity's evolution, the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in modern cyber threats, and the future of online security. We talked through the challenges businesses face in the AI era and why many companies still struggle to improve their security posture. We also touched on compelling topics like quantum computing and deepfake scams and offered practical advice for leaders on protecting their businesses from cyberattacks. One of the key messages emphasized was the importance of continual evolution in both technology and human capabilities to stay ahead of cyber threats.

The All Innovation Podcast, known for featuring visionary leaders from national companies, provided a fantastic platform to share insights and inspire others in the field. I was humbled to be included among esteemed guests and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the conversation. Jon Waldman

Over the past 19 years, Jon has helped hundreds of organizations identify and understand cybersecurity risks to allow them to make better and more informed business decisions. Jon is incredibly passionate about cybersecurity training and education, which lead him to be a driving force in the development of the SBS Institute. The Institute is uniquely designed to serve the banking industry by providing industry-specific cyber education. It has grown to include ten certification courses and holds State Association partnerships in over 30 states. Jon maintains his CISA, CRISC, and CDPSE certifications. He received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and his Master of Science in Information Assurance with an emphasis in Banking and Finance Security from Dakota State University, a Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education designated by the NSA.
