Update: We are extending our travel ban until at least November 30th. We will communicate directly with clients that have services scheduled during this timeframe. We will communicate directly with clients that have services scheduled during this timeframe.

Original Message Posted 3/17/2020: Our hearts go out to all the people and businesses in your communities that have been affected by COVID-19. We wanted to share some information regarding process changes being made at SBS to protect our employees, clients, families, and communities. In response to and support of social distancing efforts being taken in various states and due to the National State of Emergency issued by President Trump, SBS has implemented additional safety measures on its operations. Effective immediately, SBS has imposed a travel ban on all employee business travel until April 1st, but with the current trends and efforts to slow the spread of the virus, this date is likely to be extended. We are actively monitoring and communicating directly with clients that have services scheduled during this timeframe.

We understand that cybersecurity risks only increase during a time of uncertainty and we remain 100% committed to helping our clients make informed cybersecurity decisions to manage their risks. Although this pandemic has brought unforeseen and unprecedented circumstances, SBS remains well-aligned to continue to support your organization’s cybersecurity needs. We have the technology, infrastructure, and experience necessary to perform remote services and are confident in our ability to provide the same quality of service that our clients have come to expect while honoring the recommended restrictions. We are able to supplement our remote working capabilities with online meetings, video conferencing, secure electronic file sharing, and remote technologies to remain in close contact with our clients. For those that prefer to delay conducting services, we are also looking into rescheduling those activities.

SBS has restricted nonessential access to our office locations and asked the majority of our employees to leverage our remote working capabilities. This allows us to continue to provide consistent support of our software products and client services call center. Our sales support team is also equipped to continue to serve the needs of our clients and are available for online video conference meetings or phone calls.

If your organization has an emergency situation, please feel free to reach out to us so we can identify how to best support your needs. Emergencies will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and conducted as the safety of employees allows. We will be there to assist you with Incident Response or Digital Forensic services.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our team.
