SBS Joins CRI Innovator Program, Launches TRAC Module | SBS

MADISON, S.D., July 21, 2025 —  SBS CyberSecurity, a trusted provider of cybersecurity services and risk management software, has joined the Cyber Risk Institute (CRI) Innovator Program to support the development of a new CRI Profile module in its proprietary TRAC platform — a comprehensive governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solution.

The CRI Innovator Program brings together forward-thinking companies to expand the CRI ecosystem and advance cybersecurity and compliance tools across the financial sector. 

The CRI Profile, developed by CRI and built on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0, provides a financial sector–focused approach to cybersecurity risk management. It condenses more than 2,500 regulatory expectations into 318 diagnostic statements — though most institutions only need to assess against a tailored subset of 208, based on size and complexity. This right-sized approach helps institutions meet supervisory requirements while gaining a clear view of their overall risk posture.

The TRAC CRI Profile module transforms the static CRI spreadsheet into an interactive experience, complete with:

• User-friendly compliance tracking: An intuitive interface to document current risk, rationale, and planned improvements, supporting efficient compliance management
• Cross-module functionality: Seamless integration with other TRAC modules for a holistic view of risk and streamlined cybersecurity program management
• Robust reporting: Advanced reporting tools delivering clear insights into risk posture and progress to support informed decision-making
